Rock County HospitalBassett, Nebraska. This project provided a dedicated long-term care wing to compliment the services of a rural acute care hospital. Design features include a drive through canopy and separate entrance, to distinguish the long-term care unit from the existing facility, while preserving the separate identity of the hospital. Duplication of functions was avoided by sharing dietary laundry and administration with the hospital.
